Newton's Disc
NEWTON'S DISC 2014
A Newton disc, discovered by Isaac Newton, is a disc with segments in rainbow colours. When the disc is rotated, the colors fade to white; In this way Isaac Newton demonstrated that white light is a combination of the seven different colours found in a rainbow.
Our students have created their own Newton's Disc, using cheap materials, such as an old CD, marbles, paper, colour pencils and glue.
They realized that the addition of all Rainbow colours gave them a surprising result= White.
PLASTER MASKS- HALLOWEEN 2014
Halloween 2014. CRA CELUMBRES
Some scary monsters have been seen in Castellfort and Cinctorres this year.
Cra Celumbres' students have created Plaster Masks to celebrate Halloween. The process was complicated but funny . Patience and self control were necessary for the realization of the masks , as well as a good dose of Cooperative Work.
Students have enjoyed the activity and the results were really frightening.

BALLOON POWERED JET CARS- Project

Our students have learned
the concepts of Newton
The purpose of the
activity was to build a Balloon Jet Car that could extract the most energy out
of the inflated balloon and make the vehicle travel the longest distance.
Materials
- Water Bottles, Boxes, or other recycled material for the Chassis
- Balloon, Vinyl Tubing, rubber band (Motor)
- Wooden Skewers and straws (Axle)
- Various
Materials for wheels
- Tape
- DISTANCE TRAVELLED , IMAGINATION, CREATIVITY and TEAM WORK were the main aspects evaluated, and the results were Excellent.

el Concurs de dibuix organitzat per L’Escola
Valenciana, per a totes les escoles de la comarca. El lema del
Concurs era “L’Escola que volem”.
